Danish Fuel Bar Cabinet is an old military jerry can redesigned into a unique high-end cabinet to store a somewhat different type of liquid than originally intended.
Jerry cans were first used by „Jerries“ (slang term for German soldiers used by Allied troops during the WWII) to hold fuel. Their color designated the content, for example red meant gasoline, black was for diesel, white for gear oil and so on. Turning old military items into smart functional design pieces requires high technology and high quality craftsmanship. Danish Fuel’s Jerry Cans are handcrafted in Denmark based on the principal of reusing parts of old jerry cans and remaking them. Hence, each storage cabinet is as unique as a piece of art and will bring an edgy yet luxurious touch to any contemporary setting. Time to refuel!
Danish Fuel cabinets come in several colors (Army Green being a replica of an original color used by German tank division in late 1044) and with 6 types of wooden shelving, these being - Oak, Painted Ash, Red Gum, Smoked Oak, Walnut and Zebrano.
Danish Fuel Bar Cabinets are packaged in jute dust bags and delivered in a WWII styled ammunition box.
