Recognizing the importance and being committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy, SHOWROOM adopts specific policies and security measures to protect your personal data. By visiting and using the Website, you are accepting and consenting  to our collecting and processing of your personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in the Terms & Conditions and you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy and in the Terms & Conditions posted in the applicable section of the Website.  You should also be aware that we use cookies to store and access information whilst providing access to our online service. This Privacy Policy applies each time you visit the Website or use its services, regardless of whether you purchase any products. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND STORE

In order to deliver our services and/or products to you effectively, we collect your personal information  that you submit voluntarily either directly to us or via our Website such as:

  • financial data such as:  bank account number, sort code, credit card details, debit card details.

We process your personal data for the purpose of  delivering our services and/or products and to inform you about  marketing information and events or to provide you with news (such as new products and/or services) (“Marketing Information”), however the Marketing Information will be delivered to you only with your  specific consent for the processing of your personal data for the marketing purposes and in case you object for such a delivery we will not provide you with such Marketing Information. Your consent is voluntary. If you choose not to give us your consent or to withdraw it, we will stop providing you with Information via e-mail.

In addition, we may use your personal data for additional specific purposes made clear at the point of collection of your personal data.

We may also collect personal information about you from third parties such as other users of the Website. The collection of this data is sometimes automatic.

We hold only the necessary data to process your order and to issue personalized emails. 

We would like to store your data no longer than it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which we have received this personal data, for example to supply of our products and/or services. You are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation from us, in a clear and comprehensible form, if your personal data do or do not exist in our database.  You are also entitled to request  information about the source of your personal data, the purposes and methods of data processing that apply to your personal data. 

The right of access 

You have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed by us, and about certain other information about how it is used. You also have the right to request a copy of the personal data concerning you. We can refuse to provide information where to do so may reveal personal data about another person or would otherwise negatively impact another person's rights.

The right to rectification

You can ask us to take measures to correct your personal data if it s inaccurate or incomplete (e.g., if we have the wrong e-mail address).

The right to erasure

It enables you to request the deletion or removal of your personal data where, for example,  there is no compelling reason for us to keep using it or its use is unlawful.

The right to restrict processing

You have the right to ‘block’ or suppress the further use of your personal data when we are assessing a request for rectification or as an alternative to erasure. When processing is restricted, we can still store your personal data, but may not use it further.

Please note that although your personal information is deleted from our database for commercial purposes, the history of orders placed on our website will remain in our system for security reasons. New order will not be allowed without access to your personal data.

The principles on which SHOWROOM Privacy Policy is based are listed below:

  3. to verify that the data provided for the transaction are complete, valid, correct, and clear of fraudulent markers;
  4. to subscript additional specific services;
  5. to carry out activities connected to marketing and  market research. 

We may use your personal data to send you advertising about our products and services only if you grant your consent. 

The “SHOWROOM Customers” database is under our exclusive ownership. Only employees or coworkers working directly with the data have access to it. Our employees and coworkers are obligated to treat all data in the strictest confidence and the devices of each employee and coworker are password-protected. All employees and coworkers are constantly informed of and updated on the privacy policies and the security guidelines and are obligated to deal with information and data accordingly. 

We do not sell, rent or disclose its customers’ names, addresses, email addresses or other personal information to any entity,  except for the cases when such communication is mandatory by law or is required for purposes envisaged by the law, for which the person’s consent is not required; in these cases the personal data may be made available to third parties who will process the data autonomously and exclusively for such purposes.

INFORMATION WE SHARE WITH THIRD PARTIES

Some activities that we undertake require the involvement of third parties. We may share information with our service providers and other third parties for the purposes set out below:

For maintenance of the Website, and to provide the e-commerce services and communication to our customers, we use the services of a third party companies and cooperate with the several Manufacturers and Suppliers. We share your personal data with our third party service providers, whom we engage to provide services relating to the Website, events, delivery  and e-mail communication (e.g. e-mailing solution providers) and IT services and solutions (e.g., providing data storage, assisting us with database management). If necessary, your personal data shall be processed by this third party companies and the Manufacturers and/or the Suppliers, only in the case in which this is instrumental to the collaboration of the third party, the Manufacturers and/or the Suppliers with SHOWROOM. The data shall also be able to be communicated to consultants assisting SHOWROOM for the management of the Website and electronic billing (mainly internet providers, shipping companies), banks and credit control agencies.
It could happen that we may find itself processing personal data of third parties, communicated directly to SHOWROOM by its own users, such as when an user buys a product to be delivered to a different person, or when the person who pays for a product is different from the final recipient of such product. It is however your own responsibility to obtain consent from this person before communicating his/her personal data to us and to inform him/her about this Privacy Policy.

We may also share your Personal Data with:

  • any other third party if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to

comply with any legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property and/or safety of SHOWROOM, its personnel and others;

We will only collect personal data to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to serve you in view of our legitimate business purposes as set out above and we adopt security measures that are sufficient to reduce the risks of destruction or loss of data – even if accidental – to a minimum, to impede unauthorized access, and processing that is not in accordance with the purposes of data collection, as indicated in this Privacy Policy. However, while we take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data, you accept that no internet data transmission can be guaranteed to be secure from access by unintended recipients and will not hold SHOWROOM responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence.

All the content on the Website (illustrations, texts, names, brand names, images and videos) is the property of SHOWROOM. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any support, is subject to our prior and express authorization. All information, content and files are protected by the respective law provisions concerning intellectual ownership and copyright. We cannot give you the right to copy, display or distribute content that you do not have the intellectual rights to. All fraudulent use of this content that violates the rights held by a third party may infringe legal provisions concerning protection of the intellectual property. Any unlawful usage of the Website and its content shall be treated as the infringement of our rights and shall involve the liability.  SHOWROOM will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a user violates rights held by a third party through his activities on the site.
