Lladró is an iconic Spanish brand, based in Tavernes Blanques, Valencia, best known for its high-end artistic porcelain creations. From sculptures to lighting, home accessories and jewelry, Lladró brand stands for a contemporary, stylish, and exclusive lifestyle.
Lladró is a story of passion for porcelain, the constant search for new ways of expression while striving for excellence… In 1953, in their home village, Almàssera, three brothers, Juan, José and Vicente Lladró began to make their first plates, vases and ceramic figurines inspired by the works of the great European manufacturers of Meissen, Sèvres and Capodimonte. n 1965, with little more than a decade to its credit, Lladró entered the American market. And in 1969, Lladró opened its current headquarters in Tavernes Blanques (Valencia). The following are years and decades of creative maturity, the constant search for new ways of expression as well as the brand’s continuous growth and global expansion.
For nearly 70 years, Lladró has deployed its unparalleled know-how in the field of porcelain in its only factory in Valencia. Each piece is delicately made by sculptors and artisans in an entirely handcrafted process that combines age-old techniques with its own unmistakable palette of colors. Lladró also explores the vast creative potential of porcelain in collaborative projects with renowned contemporary artists and designers.
